The device automatically connects when you enter your car, but sometimes stays connected when you leave unless you go out of bluetooth range. Just keep the phone symbol button pressed and use the Google assistant/Siri function that connects and uses your phone which is far superior.

Forget the voice commands option though, it's not worth the effort trying to get them to work. This device is good for calls and is very clear. Only minor niggle is the Bluetooth connection has a good range of around 30 feet and I often find my phone has connected to it when I am in the houseĪ Good device. It connects no problem every time I get in the car, sound for calls Is very clear and volume adjustment/ answer/ disconnect buttons easy to use. ' note that this procedure work with 'siri' (need internet connection) or with 'voice control' (without internet connection) and is ok for my iphone 5s. The voice command system is a little complicated to remember the commands so I gave up and instead use the Siri function on the iPhone. after prompt say 'phone commands' (Siri or phone's 'Voice control' will open) 3. I bought this a few years ago and for its price it is ideal. The backlight is inconsistent- lighting up some buttons but not others, probably so it doesn't distract you. The pairing and automatic connection is very good. A voice guidance system walks you through the process. I did test the speakers, and if you just need to make calls, it would probably work for you. As with all of Jabra's Bluetooth devices, the Freeway is very easy to use and very quick to pair. The Jabra Assist app seems to exist just to relay notifications or text messages.
#JABRA FREEWAY IPHI MANUAL#
The printed manual is very thin without much information. The FM modulator has little hope with UK airwaves being so crowded. I bought this hoping it would accept Siri voice commands and send the music to my car radio.

Some good features, but it's not the right for me The FM transmitter feature is useful for listening to spotify on my car radio, it occasionally pics up some interference but overall the sound quality is good. The digital voice commands are quit annoying but ok, I think it will need some more setting up to react to my voice commands better. I returned it and bought this Freeway unit, the sound is very good from a small unit and the noise cancelling works well as the people I am calling say that they can hear me clearly.
